4minute

4minute (Korean포미닛) is a South Korean girl group founded by Cube Entertainment in 2009. The band consists of Nam Ji-hyunGa-yoonJeon Ji-yoon,Hyuna and Kwon So Hyun.

Nam Ji-hyun (Hangul:남지현) (born January 9, 1990) is a South Korean pop singer and actress. She rose to fame as one fifth of South Korean girl group 4minute.

Heo Ga Yoon (born May 18, 1990), more commonly known as Gayoon, is a South Korean pop singer and dancer. She is a member of the Korean girl group 4minute. Gayoon made her debut as a singer along with 4minute on June 15, 2009.


JiYoon (born Jeon JiYoon; October 15, 1990) is a South Korean dance-pop singer. She is a member of the girl group 4minute.

Hyuna (born Kim Hyun Ah; June 6, 1992) is a South Korean dance-pop singer. She is a member of the girl group 4minute and former member of Wonder Girls but had to leave due to illness .

So Hyun (born Kwon So Hyun; August 30, 1994) is a South Korean dance-pop singer. She is a member of the girl group 4minute. She is also a former member of the Korean girl group "Orange."






2PM


2PM is a South Korean boy band, originally a seven-member group, but currently consisting of six members due to the sudden contract termination of leader Jaebeomfollowing an Internet controversy in September 2009. They are managed by JYP Entertainment. The current members are Junsu, Junho, NichkhunTaecyeonWooyoungand Chansung.
2PM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member (before Jaebeom's departure) boy band One Day, the other being 2AM. They debuted with the song "10 Jeom Manjeome 10 Jeom" (10점 만점에 10점, lit. 10 Points Out of 10 Points), which showcased their acrobatic dance styles.[2] They achieved their first No. 1 song with "Again & Again".

Chansung (찬성) (born February 11, 1990), full name Hwang Chansung (황찬성), acted in the Korean sitcom "Unstoppable High Kick" prior to his debut with 2PM. Chansung participated in the same survival game as Junho but lost. He auditioned a second time and was accepted into the company. He rapped in 2AM's song "To Her" (그녀에게).


Nichkhun (닉쿤) (born June 24, 1988), full name Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul (นิชคุณ หรเวชกุล), is an American citizen of Thai andChinese descent. He was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California. He spent his childhood in Thailand and California and studied abroad in New Zealand. He returned to the States for high school at Los Osos High and was scouted by a JYP talent agent in Hollywood, Californiawhile he was attending the Korean Music Festival in Los Angeles.


Wooyoung (우영) (born April 30, 1989), full name Jang Wooyoung (장우영), is from Busan, Korea and was selected as a JYP trainee through MGoon's JYP auditions, of which he won first place against 5,000 other candidates. Before debuting in 2PM, Wooyoung filled in as a dancer partner with Wonder Girls member Kim Yubin when TOP from Big Bang fainted the day before the special performance with the Wonder Girls during the 2007 MBC Music Awards.


Taecyeon (택연) (born December 27, 1988)full name Ok Taecyeon (옥택연), was born in Seoul, South Korea. As a young child, Taecyeon (along with his family) moved to Bedford, Massachusetts, where his parents and older sister still currently reside.He originally auditioned for JYP Entertainment in New York City to become a model. Taec was also on the same audition show as Junho and Chansung, Superstar Survival, but was the first contestant to leave the show. He featured in "Yes I'm In Love" by Bada on her 4th album and Baek Ji Young's 2009 song "My Ear's Candy" (내 귀에 캔디). He currently hosts SBS's music show Inkigayo with Wooyoung, and will be a permanent cast member on Family Outing 2. He debuted as an actor in the 2010 KBS drama series "신데렐라 언니" ("Cinderella's Sister") alongside Moon Geun Young and Chun Jung-myung.


Junho (준호) (born January 25, 1990)[55], full name Lee Junho (이준호), is from IlsanKorea and signed a contract with JYP Entertainment after winning the "JYP's Superstar Survival" talent search (which Taecyeon and Chansung were also contestants in) in 2006, placing 1st out of 6,000 competitors. Due to his looks, he is often compared with Korean entertainer Rain).


Junsu (준수) (born January 15, 1988), full name Kim Junsu (김준수), was born in Daegu, South Korea. Prior to singing, Junsu had entered and won various poem- and song-writing contests. He originally auditioned for YG Entertainment, where he befriended G-Dragon and Tae Yang of Big Bang. He was accepted into both YG & JYP Entertainment, but chose to take the path of JYP in his final decision.




2NE1


2NE1 (Hangul투애니원RRtu-aeniwon; pronounced "to anyone"[1] or "twenty-one"[2]) is aSouth Korean hip hop/pop girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2009. 2NE1 consists of four members: CLBomDara, and Minzy. The group's name 2NE1 stands for "New Evolution of the 21st Century".[3] First appearing in "Lollipop", a commercial campaign with Big Bang for LG Telecom, their debut single "Fire" was released on May 6, 2009. Since then, they have released one extended play2NE1, and one studio album, To Anyone. "Fire", "I Don't Care", "Nal Ddara Haebwayo", and "Go Away" have all hit number one in South Korea.

Lee Chae-rin (born February 26, 1991), better known as CL, is a South Korean rapper, singer, and dancer. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, but spent much of her early life in various places where she learned EnglishFrench, and Japanese. In 2009, she debuted along with YG Entertainment label mates Sandara ParkGong Min-ji, and Park Bom as 2NE1.
Lee has worked with Big BangUhm Jung Hwa, YMGA, and Teddy Park. With 2NE1, she has released one extended play, 2NE1, and one full length album, To Anyone. Her duet song with Gong Min-ji, "Please Don't Go," peaked at number 5 on the monthly Gaon Chart in November, 2009.


Park Sandara (Korean박산다라, born November 12, 1984), better known as Dara (다라), is aSouth Korean singerdancerrapperactresstelevision host and model. She is best known as being a member of the Korean girl group 2NE1. Her unusual three-syllable Korean name, which she has talked about numerous times during interviews, comes from a Korean general, Kim Yushin, whose childhood name was "Sandara (산다라)". Her younger brother, Sang-Hyun Park (Thunder),is also in the entertainment industry as a member of a Korean boy bandMBLAQ inJ.Tune Entertainment.


Park Bom (born March 24, 1984), also known by the mononym Bom (pronounced /ˈboʊm/bohm), is a South Korean pop singer. Born in SeoulSouth Korea, she eventually moved to theUnited States where she learned English. She is the main vocalist of girl group 2NE1. She is signed to YG Entertainment.[2]
Starting in 2006, Park recorded with labelmates Big BangLexy, and Masta Wu. She debuted with 2NE1 in 2009 as the main vocalist. The group's debut extended play2NE1, would be the third best selling album of 2009 in Korea. For the band's next album, Park sang her first solo single "You and I". It reached number one on the Gaon Chart, the national music chart of Korea. The song would be later released on 2NE1's next album, To Anyone, which would go on to sell over 120,000 copies.

Gong Min-ji (born January 18, 1994), more commonly known as Minzy, is a South Korean pop singer, rapper, and dancer. She was born in Seoul.She is currently a member of Korean girl group 2NE1 which is signed to YG Entertainment.
Gong Min-ji debuted in 2009 with group 2NE1. Their first extended play2NE1 would go on to sell 100,000 copies in 2009. The follow up studio albumTo Anyone, sold 150,000 copies.
